The CAA-certified self-extinguishing aircraft mat prevents slipping and tripping in aircraft entrances by reducing the amount of moisture entering the aircraft. It also significantly reduces the amount of dirt tracked into the aircraft on shoes.

Entrance mat for airplanes and airlines

Highly absorbent and durable wool/nylon fibers combined with coarse monofilament scrapers make this Aircraft entrance mat – the ideal product for airlines, to remove foot moisture and dirt from the shoes of passengers and cabin crew. The carpet pile is bonded to a flame-retardant PVC backing with flat edges. All mats are supplied with an approved CAA (Civil Aviation Authority, UK) certificate, Ref. No. AI/8847/83. Testing of internal materials according to FAR/JAR Part 25 App. F Part 1 VERTICAL Test.

Installation method: Laid loosely, but can be attached more permanently with Velcro fasteners or double-sided adhesive tapes.
