Our general rental terms and conditions for rental scales

The rental scales remain the property of AAAgiler GmbH. Upon termination of the rental period, the scales must be returned by the renter immediately in suitable packaging (i.e., one business day after the end of the rental period). Shipment to the renter must be received before the start of the agreed rental period. Shipping to and from the lessor's warehouse is at the renter's expense and risk. Within the Rhine-Main-Neckar region, we also offer direct delivery upon request, subject to reimbursement of travel expenses (EUR 0.50 per kilometer driven).
Should a particular type of scale be unavailable, we reserve the right to supply comparable scales in terms of readability and maximum weighing range.
Each additional day beyond the agreed rental period costs an extra EUR 25 per rental scale (net). Extensions are only permitted with the prior consent of the lessor.
The rental scales must be returned clean. If this is not the case, an additional cleaning fee of EUR 10 per scale will be charged.
The renter must inspect the rented items immediately upon receipt and handle them with care. Failure to raise any objections upon receipt implies that the items are complete and suitable for their intended use. The renter must report any damage immediately after receipt.
The renter is liable for any damage (including theft) to the rented equipment, even in cases of simple negligence. The renter must compensate for any damage incurred.
For multi-year rental agreements (e.g., for several inventories in subsequent years), scales must be reserved at least three months before the respective rental period begins. Only then can availability be guaranteed.
