Heavy-duty support
Heavy-duty support for up to 40 t
The heavy-duty support column, at a maximum height of 11.3 m , still has a load-bearing capacity of approximately 400 kN or 40 t . The column consists of one or two height-adjustable end pieces with spindles , extendable middle sections, and a top piece. The middle sections are available in heights of 0.156 m, 0.312 m, 0.625 m, 1.25 m, and 2.50 m.
Is our heavy-duty support oversized for your application? More cost-effective, lower load-bearing (110 kN to 270 kN depending on the support height), height-adjustable construction supports for heavy loads, but with a similar length (11 m), can be found here.
Height -adjustable steel supports for heavy loads in construction with spindle and movable base plate
Heavy-duty supports in galvanized steel construction, available in variable lengths, are designed to bear heavy loads. Centering pins simplify the assembly of multiple elements together and with the end pieces, ensuring correct positioning and allowing for easy connection through pre-drilled holes in the base plates.
The end piece of the heavy-duty support features a spindle with a movable base plate and a mounting base plate for adapting the middle sections via a centering pin. It has an adjustment range of 445–665 mm, adjustable via a star wheel, and can be used for both the head and foot sections. The support is constructed of very stable steel. This allows for fine adjustment of the heavy-duty support .
The steel supports for heavy loads have the following properties:
- Use as a steel support in scaffold construction and in formwork for transferring vertical loads
- The combination of different length center sections allows for any support height from 1.2 m – 11.3 m ( height adjustable via spindles )
- Load-bearing capacity of the heavy-duty support up to approx. 40 t (400kN) at a support height of 11.3 m.
- The steel support for heavy loads is used to support heavy structures, e.g. in tunnel construction, bridge construction or building construction or in formwork work.
- This Steel supports may be used in design class B1 according to DIN EN 12812.
