Removable ramp guardrails are an efficient solution for the temporary securing of loading ramps, loading zones, and open fall edges in industrial and logistics facilities. They combine maximum safety with high flexibility, allowing for the quick opening of work areas for loading and unloading operations. The system consists of robust, usually hot-dip galvanized steel structures used as safety railings or guardrails . Thanks to their removable design, individual elements can be removed and reinstalled without tools or with minimal effort – ideal for dynamic processes in warehousing and shipping operations.

The loading ramp railing, as a parapet on ramps, is designed to prevent falls by people leaning against it or to provide support when someone holds onto the railing with their hands while walking. Furthermore, the safety railing is intended to prevent a person from walking into or falling against the side protection. The railings must be at least 1 meter high.
VBG - Guideline "Planning and Designing Workplaces Safely" : "If there is a risk that people or industrial trucks could fall (see ASR A2.1 "Protection against falls and falling objects, entering danger areas"), the following traffic areas must be secured by barriers – preferably railings:
- Loading ramp edges, especially areas that are not permanent loading and unloading points,
- Sides of inclined ramps,
- Staircase entrances and
- Loading ramp edges with integrated lifting tables."
