Jump pole tape as a color marker for show jumping obstacles
Our high-quality, self-adhesive color markers (sold as rolls) for show jumping obstacles are the ideal solution for clearly and safely marking jump poles and other obstacle elements . Standard widths are 5 cm, 7.5 cm, and 10 cm; other widths are available upon request . Each roll is 30 m long. They improve visibility for both horse and rider and significantly contribute to accident prevention. Made of weather-resistant, UV-stable plastic, these jump markers adhere reliably to wood, plastic, and metal. Their vibrant colors ensure excellent visibility even from a distance.

Note: Horses have dichroic color vision, meaning they only have two types of cone cells in their eyes. This allows them to perceive certain colors, but not the entire color spectrum visible to humans. Specifically, horses can easily distinguish shades of blue and green, but have difficulty differentiating red and related hues. Self-adhesive paint marking rolls for jumping poles
Whether in professional competition, training at a riding club, or at a private stable – our self-adhesive polyurethane paint marking rolls are an indispensable accessory for every show jumper. They not only enhance safety but also help with structuring and designing the course.

Heavy, stable, and solid obstacles are usually preferred. Spruce wood with a normal residual moisture content of 15% has a density of around 400 kg/m³. Therefore, a pole four meters long with a ten-centimeter diameter already weighs 12 kilograms. Obstacle standards, especially catch standards, are considerably heavier, particularly if they have perforated iron rails for the jump faces.
