We are happy to assist the German Armed Forces in solving their technical challenges. We can either develop a solution ourselves, consult our European supplier network of over 100 medium-sized manufacturers, or find new German or international manufacturers who can solve the problem!
Occasionally, we have product ideas for the German Armed Forces but don't know where to best place them. We are looking for development partners within the German Armed Forces! (We usually already have suitable industrial partners for manufacturing!)
1) Development of an extremely resistant IRR-absorbing rubber front apron with integrated Merkava-style track guard against gunfire for tanks (see image on the left).
Rubber front skirts on tanks offer the following advantages:
Shock absorption: Reduces impact energy during gunfire or collisions.
Explosion dampening: Mitigates the effects of mine explosions.
Quick replacement: Simple and cost-effective replacement in case of damage.
Modular protection: Integration into multi-layered defense systems.
Camouflage: Reduces heat and radar signatures. Camouflage colors can be changed.
- If necessary, anti-personnel mines with Merkava track protection could be triggered in time before they can reach the soldiers behind them.
2) Multifunctional Carrying and Protective Mat : Design of a versatile mat for the army that serves as a thermally insulating base in the field, can simultaneously be used as a stretcher for the wounded, and, when rolled up, functions as a shield against enemy fire. The soldier under the mat should be protected against shrapnel fire and IRR detection.
3) Inflatable, mobile tank dummies with heat and radar signatures for training and protection against enemy fire.
4) Development of an "Arctic" winter uniform for the lowest temperatures for the soldiers of the German Armed Forces
These approaches can be further refined in cooperation with the relevant development and innovation departments of the German Armed Forces. I look forward to the exchange and joint development of these concepts.
