Slip-on arm protectors to protect against cuts and heat for the arms
The arm guard meets the stringent standards for protective gloves and ensures your safety. It complies with the standard EN ISO 21420:2020 for general requirements and test methods for protective gloves, the standard EN 388:2016+A1:2018 for protective gloves against mechanical risks, and the standard EN 407:2020 for protective gloves and other hand protective equipment against thermal risks (heat and/or fire).
The performance levels of the arm guard according to EN 388:2016+A1:2018 are as follows: abrasion resistance (level 2), cut resistance (coupe test, level 4), tear resistance (level 2), and puncture resistance (level 2). The cut resistance in the TDM B test also meets the requirements. Additionally, the arm guard meets the requirements of EN ISO 13997 with a resistance of 8.8 N (Newtons) against large quantities of molten metal.
Our knitted arm warmers are carefully packaged to ensure their quality. Each warmer has a label at the hem containing basic information about the EU conformity marking and the general requirements for gloves. Ten pairs are packaged in a PE bag along with the manufacturer's information in German. For larger orders of 100 pairs, we use a sturdy cardboard box weighing approximately 15 kg.
To ensure the longevity of the arm guards, please observe the following instructions: The guards are suitable for work in environments where there is a risk of scratches, abrasions, or cuts. They must not exceed the specified contact heat rating according to Class 1 of standard EN 407:2020. If the arm guards are cut, torn, abrasion-resistant, or excessively soiled, they will lose their functional properties. They are not resistant to water penetration and should not be used in situations where there is a risk of them becoming caught in moving parts of machinery. Unless flame retardancy is declared, the arm guards must not come into contact with open flames. The protection rating applies only to the complete product, including all layers.
