Guideposts for motorway / expressway in Switzerland

Installation instructions for guideposts
The road posts can be installed using various methods:
Option 1) Of course, the base plates can also simply be driven into the ground as before; the points mentioned above are merely recommendations. The special base plate ensures a secure hold for all the guideposts mentioned above. The universal base plate is driven into the ground using a soft-faced hammer or a setting tool.
Option 2) To ensure that the guideposts remain upright permanently (even after winter), we recommend the installation method described below.
1. For installation, a hole is drilled or dug (diameter 25-35 cm). Depth approx. 50 cm.
2. Pour in-situ concrete to just below road level.
3. Insert the universal or round tube base section and align it straight.
