Available versions of the tactile plastic ribs: Self-adhesive, without glue, with pin

For the self-adhesive version, there are different adhesives available, depending on the application/surface.

Ribs "without adhesive" can be glued during installation using a liquid adhesive that is adapted to the substrate.

Tactile ribs with pins are installed by drilling holes into the floor and then bonding them with polyester resin. This installation method is particularly recommended for outdoor areas, uneven surfaces, or areas subject to high loads.

Mounting templates for floor indicators are available as accessories.

Tactile ribs in widths of 10 mm (recommended for indoor use), 15 mm (recommended for outdoor use), 25 mm and 35 mm, each with a length of 295 mm.

Available heights: 3.3 mm (indoors) and 5 mm (outdoors, as it is more noticeable)

Please note that tactile floor markings can pose a tripping/accident hazard (including for pedestrians, cyclists, inline skaters, roller skaters and wheelchair users), especially on cycle paths, in step areas and where there are longitudinal grooves.

Furthermore, the ribs do not fully comply with DIN 32984: 2020-12.

Other colors/special colors and transparent elements are available upon request. A strong color contrast with the background is particularly important for visually impaired people.
