Rusty fern
Rust remover - your professional gel for effective rust removal
This rust remover gel is an innovative solution for the fast and reliable removal of rust and tarnish. Thanks to its specially developed gel formula, it allows for precise application, delivering excellent results even on hard-to-reach or heavily rusted surfaces. The gel chemically dissolves the rust without attacking the underlying material and optimally prepares the surface for subsequent corrosion protection measures. The rust remover gel can be used on ferrous steel, brushed stainless steel, copper, brass, chrome, and silver. It features a high reaction rate, excellent penetrating properties, and is very economical. Tarnish is removed by the gel in just a few seconds. For rust, the removal process can take between 15 minutes and 12 hours, depending on the degree of corrosion.
Alternatively, in addition to rust converter (1 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg and 28 kg packaging units) and rust remover (1 l, 5 l, 10 l and 28 l), we also offer, upon request, a highly concentrated liquid rust remover (in 1 l or 5 l containers for dilution with water 1:10) for use as an immersion bath to remove rust and corrosion. The parts to be derusted can be placed directly into the bath. The derusting concentrate is also suitable for ultrasonic baths and is reusable multiple times.
Product benefits of the rust remover gel
Fast action: The gel unfolds its full effect in a very short time, so that even stubborn rust spots can be treated effectively.
Easy to use: Thanks to the gel consistency, precise and controlled work processes can be carried out – without dripping or smearing.
Gentle treatment: The formula removes rust and tarnish without damaging the original metal surface, allowing for safe further processing.
Preparation for corrosion protection: After treatment, a precisely fitting coating or corrosion protection agent can be applied to ensure the longevity of the surface.
Remove rust with rust remover gel
Apply the rust remover gel liberally to the surface with a brush and work it in thoroughly. This technique allows the rust remover gel to penetrate all cracks and crevices. Keep the treated area as moist as possible (e.g., with foil) to prevent the gel from drying out. This method increases its effectiveness. Allow it to work for at least 24 hours, depending on the degree of rust. Then rinse thoroughly with clean water and a sponge or brush, and dry. The process can be repeated several times if necessary. After treatment, the passive layer on the surface should be sealed promptly with a protective coating (e.g., zinc spray, aluminum corrosion protection, wax-based corrosion protection, or corrosion- and weather-resistant surface coating – also available from us upon request).
