WEICON WP protects heavily stressed surfaces. A coating with this epoxy resin system offers high resistance to wear and abrasion and is extremely resistant to chemicals. WEICON WP, a plastic-steel composite, prevents metal loss and replaces conventional wear-resistant alloys, ceramic tiles, rubber linings, and welded metal coatings. It can be used both to regenerate worn metal surfaces and as a wear-resistant coating. Particularly high protection is achieved when wear is caused by particles impacting from the side.
